A span is a single unit of work in your agent's execution — an LLM call, a tool invocation, a sub-agent run, or any custom block you wrap with the OopsTrace decorator. Each trace is made up of one or more spans.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. When upgrading, the new plan takes effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Is there a free trial for Pro?

What happens if I exceed my span limit?
We'll send you an alert at 80% and 100% of your monthly limit. Spans beyond the limit are dropped — your agents continue running, but those traces won't be stored. You can upgrade at any time to avoid limits.
Does OopsTrace store my LLM prompts?
Only if you choose to include them. By default, OopsTrace captures metadata (latency, token counts, status codes). You opt in to capturing full prompt/response bodies. Enterprise customers can self-host so nothing leaves their environment.
